Fiber-laser cutting, CNC laser pipe and tube cutting, and certified welding for critical-infrastructure fabrication — performed on open-architecture CNC machines that Enerdyne designs, welds, and builds in-house. When the part doesn't fit the machine, we build the machine to fit the part — and if you want that capability on your own floor, we'll build and sell you the machine itself.
Job-shop laser cutting is built around fixed machine envelopes: if your part fits a 5×10 table or a standard tube feeder, you get a quote — if it doesn't, you get a redesign. Structural frames, long pipe runs, skid weldments, and one-off machine bases for energy and industrial projects routinely fall outside those envelopes, and commercial large-format laser systems run $500K–$1.5M, a cost that lands in your part price.
Enerdyne closes that gap from the other direction. We design and weld our own CNC laser machines around the work itself — so envelope, fixturing, and kinematics are engineering variables, not constraints.
| Service | Description |
|---|---|
| CNC Laser Cutting | Fiber-laser profile cutting of sheet and plate — steel, stainless, and aluminum. Brackets, gussets, panels, enclosure blanks, and full flat-pack kits with etched part marking and bend references. |
| CNC Laser Pipe & Tube Cutting | Rotary-axis laser cutting of round, square, and rectangular tube: weld-prep copes and saddles, tab-and-slot joints so frames self-fixture like a puzzle (no jig required), and engineered notching — including controlled-deformation features cut inside the tube for designed crumple and bend behavior. |
| Welding & Frame Fabrication | MIG/TIG welding of the frames, skids, machine bases, and structural assemblies the cutter produces. Every Enerdyne machine frame in our own shop was welded here — the same hands that build our machines build your weldments. |
Enerdyne's cutting systems are purpose-built machines on frames we weld ourselves, running LinuxCNC open-architecture motion control — fully auditable software, custom kinematics, no vendor lock, no cloud dependency.
The same capability is for sale. Enerdyne designs and builds complete CNC laser and motion systems to order — welded frame, drives, optics, safety interlocks, and LinuxCNC control — sized to your part, your bay, or your production line. Machines are documented like our other products: open architecture, no phone-home, serviceable by your own staff.
Fabrication at Enerdyne serves the rest of the practice: equipment skids and enclosures for BESS and substation projects, antenna and radio masts, tower and shelter hardware, tube-frame chassis and structural prototypes with engineered crumple behavior, machine bases, and replacement parts for equipment whose OEM no longer answers the phone.
We are a custom fabrication shop, not a stamping line. High-mix, low-volume, odd-envelope, and engineered one-offs are the work we want. If you need 50,000 identical brackets by Friday, a production house will serve you better — and we'll tell you so.
Send a drawing, a STEP file, or a photo of the broken thing. We quote cutting and welding work per job, and machine builds per specification. Site pickup and delivery available in the San Diego region; freight nationwide.
